The afternoon will comprise three remote sessions that will inform, explore, and give the
opportunity to discuss topical issues of intensive care medicine, the impact of intensive care
on patients, and essential legal issues including capacity, shared decision-making, refusing
treatment, and dying with dignity. Our speakers and panelists will be experienced intensivists
and court lawyers, who will guide you through this challenging, fascinating, essential area.
