Past President Receives New Year's Honour for Services to Rehabilitation

Professor Lynne Turner-Stokes, Past President of the BSRM (2014-16) has been awarded an MBE for Services to Rehabilitation.

It is fantastic that Lynne's huge contribution to rehabilitation has been recognised by the award of an MBE in the New Year's Honours - the BSRM were delighted to read the news this weekend.

Professor Turner-Stokes has been a member of the BSRM since 1989.  Since when she has been very involved in the BSRM's activities, from receipt of the first Philip Nichols Prize for original research whilst a Specialist Registrar (1991), through to holding the office of President (2014-16) and Chair of various committees and guideline groups in between!
