The first UK study of its kind on the post-discharge medium-term impact of COVID-19 infection on the health status of survivors
BSRM Members including Manoj Sivan, Stephen Halpin, Joanna Corrado, Tamsin Collins and Rory O'Connor et al report (in the Journal of Medical Virology) on their study 'Post-discharge symptoms and rehabilitation needs in survivors of COVID-19 infection: a cross-sectional evaluation'. Manoj commented that "The emerging evidence is that for some, the road to recovery may take months and it is vital specialist rehabilitation is on hand to support them."
